PROGRAM TWO: “NEW MOVES”
“New Moves” is a health and physical education program for adolescent girls. It focuses mainly on positive selfimage, healthy eating, and physical activity.
Step Two: Write a Review of the Program
Once you have chosen a program, follow the link and read through as much material as possible in order to
gain a full understanding of the program’s goals and objectives. Think about the full implementation of the
program:
Is the program’s design transferable to different-sized schools and communities?
Does the program allow for students that are at different stages of biological, cognitive, and social
development?
Is the program designed in a way that will motivate and engage adolescents?
Does the program meet the needs of adolescents?
