Using your new art definitions, solid research, and a Bible, write an essay (minimum 500 words typed double-spaced), on one of the two topics.
First, do a synopsis/summary of the main points and issues surrounding the topic:
Second, write a faith-based critique from a Christian world view on the issue; bring in other relevant examples; use the Bible (do not quote verses out of context); back up your positions with quotes from authors (especially Christian authors) who have written on these issues; attach relevant visuals. Conclude with your own “informed” opinions…What can we as Christians and as believing artists do to offer hope to the art community and the art world?
