negative feedback system

Project description

Please read the instructions in the paper that i attached it and follow it.

Assignment:  Develop a system that utilizes negative feedback

Negative feedback mechanisms are very common in the human body and are responsible for the maintenance of homeostasis.  Negative feedback mechanisms keep blood sugar,

blood pressure, body temperature and many other characteristics within a range of values typical of the human body.  When a stimulus from either inside or outside the

body puts stress on the body, values can temporarily go beyond the typical range.  The body responds by activating one of several negative feedback mechanisms to

return the level back within the typical range.  There are 3 key features of a feedback system:
The Receptor:  monitors controlled conditions and detects changes, sends message to the control center
The Control Center:  interprets and processes information from the receptor, makes a decision, and sends message to effector to act
The Effector:  brings about change to return the controlled condition back within the typical range

Negative feedback is utilized outside of the body as well.  Thermostats connected to heating and air conditioning elements are an example.  For this assignment, you

will create your own negative feedback system that could solve an everyday problem.  You will need to include:
1.     A drawing of the system
2.    Identification of the 3 components (the receptor, the control center, and the effector)
3.    A description of what each of the 3 components does
4.    A description of the purpose of the system
