Mysterious events around death/ dying/the afterlife

find a story of your own to share. This could be a mysterious event around death/ dying/the afterlife that you have witnessed yourself, or have heard about from someone else. Or it could be a story from fiction, mythology, folklore, or the general culture. Note that this assignment is not about exploring the personal and emotional aspects of grief and mourning, but a task of creative story-telling that looks at the mysterious, supernatural, “woo-woo” or metaphysical sides of death, and what that might mean to us individually.

Begin by telling the story in vivid story-telling style, as if you were sharing with friends around a campfire. Feel free to add description, dialogue and a title. State where the story came from – where you heard it from.
Then, describe what meaning, if any, it has for you. For example, does it convince you that there is life beyond death, or that communication can take place between the dead and the living? Or is this all just a figment of people’s imaginations? Does the story alter your view of reality?
If you are retelling a story you have found in a book or online, make sure you paraphrase it in your own words and cite the source below, using MLA format.
