Focusing on Abstract/Introduction/Methods sections: Music in Every-mind (article) will upload
FIRST (1) Use Hypothesis to annotate each of the three “Moves” that establishes research introduction:
Move 1: Topic significance,
Move 2: Need for present research (niche);
Move 3: Introduce present research.
You must explain how each Move is represented. (because you don't have access to hypothesis website please HIGHLIGHT and refer to the highlighted parts by explaining how each move was represented (1-2 sentences).
SECOND(2) Respond to the following questions after reading the abstract/introduction/method sections:
What is the goal of the study?
What is an independent variable? Identify the independent variable in the study.
What is a dependent variable? Identify the dependent variable in the study.
What is a controlled group? Identify the controlled group in the study.
What are extraneous variables? Identify the extraneous variables in the study.
What trends or issues do you see in the Tables and Figures represented in the study?
Based on these findings and your analysis, find a “niche” to make an argument for further research.
Create a research question.
What type of sources will you gather to inform your research?
