In Module 1, you selected a healthcare organization that you will study throughout your Session Long Project. For this module, consider your organization and assess how well the organization’s employment policies and security awareness program align (or do not align) with the material covered in the Administration domain. In 2 to 3 pages, do the following:

Provide an overview of the organization’s employment policies and practices. Discuss how well they align with the security policies and practices covered by the Administration domain. How effective are the policies, practices, and measures? How can they be improved?
Describe any security awareness programs that your organization uses. Are they effective? What could be done to improve them?

The following items will be assessed in particular:
alth information systems and informatics deals with the evaluation, manipulation, storage and analysis of health data that has been collected in a health organization. It entails real data that is raw and ready for subjection to testing and evaluation. In most occasions, the data is acquired after certification and approval from the relevant organizations (Kongstvedt, 2007). This field is crucial as trends are established to predict the common patterns emerging, which are essential for protecting a population or providing imperative insights to governments, non-governmental organizations, health bodies and relevant authorities on health related characteristics of a given population (Velde & Degoulet, 2003).
The chosen health organization is Cedar Ridge, which deals with patients dealing with addiction and abuse of medical drugs, mostly painkillers. The organization serves a large population, as it is unique. Patients from other towns attend the hospital to seek medication, as the problem is not prevalent in the region. The establishment offers employment to more than 200 healthcare workers, both health and support staff. It can accommodate up to 450 patients at a go. It offers ambulance pick-up services and has three vehicles assigned to the purpose. In addition, the health organization offers education and counseling services that are granted free of charge. Volunteers are health staff and previous individuals who recovered after treatment.
My reason for choosing the organization included the availability of numerous relevant pieces of information among others. Data gathering was not difficult as the facility encourages the use of its data for analysis by external parties. My connection to the organization is my best friend, who works as a clerk to the administrator. As such, he has ease of acquiring any information that I require.
