1:Choose either the MLK Memorial in Washington DC or the 9/11 Memorial in NYC

1. What specifically did the designer do in the memorial that you think is remarkable, unique, interesting, or noteworthy? Tell me about at least two different
features or details that stood out to you when researching.

2. Let’s pretend that you have the opportunity to travel to see the memorial you chose. What specific part or parts of the memorial would you be most interested in
experiencing in person? Why? (Please don’t answer “all of it”)
3. What do you think about any controversy surrounding the memorial? What is that controversy? (There is controversy surrounding both of these, so do some research.
Also for the 9/11, it is not true that family members of those lost have to pay)
4. Really think about what you’ve seen and learned about the memorial. Name one or two other elements that you think the designer should or could have included in the
final memorial—or what is something you would have done differently or would like to see added to what is already there? You must come up with something.

different audiences?)

10. In your opinion, after reading and studying this chapter, do you think project managers use the MSP’s Gantt chart format more often than the network format? Why or
why not?
