A 59 years old woman was readmitted to hospital for severe recurrent diarrhoea and high fever. She had been discharged 22 days ago after being hospitalised due to severe diarrhoea.
Previously she had been treated with a combination of rifampicin, isoniazid, ethambutol, pyrazinamide, levofloxacin, amikacin, and azithromycin for active pulmonary tuberculosis combined with pneumonia. She was treated with oral vancomycin for the diarrhoea and became well after 4 weeks.
