Assume you are a marketing manager and you are required to prepare a marketing plan for a new product or a business venture for the organization for a specific market in which you consider there is scope for developing a better offering and to explain how this might be done profitably by your department. You are required to analyze how a particular market might be conceptualized better and exploited profitably.

(To do this assignment, you are required to interview a product marketing manager of a company of your choice and formulate a product marketing plan for this manager’s company, for a certain product brand X to be implemented in 2015)

Your marketing plan should be explained in about 15 – 20 pages. Detail your marketing plan including projected sales and financial data, following the explanation and example given in your text book or the recommended books listed above. Your write-up must be typed using font size of 11 or 12, double or one and a half spacing.

A mix of analytical and creative skills is called for. I shall be looking for setting of marketing goals and objectives and a mix of marketing programs and action plan addressing business or consumer markets to be served with appropriate products and support.
