Discuss the following concepts and ideas below as it relates to your field
agency placement. Remember that a logic model is a tool that an organization or agency uses to either
evaluate or measure how successful an agency is in implementing what it sets out to accomplish. A logic
models also measures outcomes of an agency.
By this point, most of you have already asked your field instructor what the logic model that your agency
utilizes. This paper is to help you practice Competency # 4 which addresses practice informed research and
research informed practice.
In a 4 to 5 page paper, you are required to write about the logic model that is used by your agency, such as
specific elements such as resources and budgeting. Your agency may use another name for its logic model
or a tool to measure outcomes and effectiveness.
