Law of Evidence
Law of Evidence
Order Description
"Should the manner in which evidence is obtained really matter?"
Refer to unfairly obtained evidence: exclusionary/inclusionary discretion.
Develop a deep analysis of arguments both for and against, in a logical sense throughout.
Show evidence of further reading from secondary sources as well as case law/statute.
Referencing system: OSCOLA (Numeric system) - footnotes with full case names or article/book names. Bibliography in the end with primary and secondary sources
(basically the footnotes) all in alphabetical order.
Footnotes will not be counted in the word limit of the coursework as long as they are only references to legal authorities (cases, statutes, journal articles etc) and
not used to explain or develop arguments. ANYTHING WHICH IS A DIRECT QUOTE MUST BE IN QUOTATION MARKS! OTHERWISE THIS WILL COUNT AS PLAGIARISM!”
