Latinx cultural production

In the spirit of Latinx cultural production, everyone will work in groups to lead one asynchronous lecture. The purposes of these group presentations are to 1) build a sense of community even as we are physically separate. 2) give you practice presenting since it’s an important life skill! and 3) bring different perspectives and approaches to the discussions. You will self-select your groups during the first week by signing up via our course site. How you divide the preparation and facilitation labor is up to you. Your recorded lecture should:

Provide a general overview of the reading(s) and identify any major themes or key events.
Clarify any points of confusion from my lectures and be in conversation with your classmates. How can you connect this material to the material discussed by other groups?
Offer supplementary material - Is there anything that wasn’t discussed thoroughly enough? Are there other resources that could help strengthen the class’ understanding of this topic?
