Choose a current (within 7 years) journal article that deals with mathematics in the elementary school. After
careful analysis, describe the author’s thesis and conclusions along with your personal reaction to the article in
a two to three-page critique. Choose an article that is highly relevant to you and your future in education.
Please adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Articles should be chosen from education journals and be at least 2 pages in length. Please attach a copy of
   the first page of your article with your critique.
2. Thorough bibliographic reference with critique: Author. Date. Title of Article. Journal Title. Page
   Numbers.
3. Succinct description of the author’s thesis and conclusions.
4. Personal reaction to the article and application/reflection to your future career as a teache
