Jean Cocteau’s Orpheus

Moving forward, we are going to consider a famous film (Yes, it's in B&W with subtitles!) from 1949,
'Orpheus' by French artist, poet, and film director Jean Cocteau. Cocteau's film is among the most revered films of the mid-twentieth century. After you watch it (hopefully, more than once!) you'll understand why his film has influenced every important filmmaker of fantasy, political allegory, and sci-fi to the present day.
On the first page of PDF, you'll find 12 Questions on Jean Cocteau's film 'Orpheus.' On the 2nd page are 4
paragraphs that provide you with background information on Cocteau's film and its themes; on the 3rd page
of the PDF you'll find the Cast of Characters that appear in the film.
The writing assignment is to compose thoughtful responses to the 12 Questions in the PDF. Remember,
being thoughtful means more than one sentence!
