Investigate Development: Cognitive Development in Infancy

You are NOT to use outside resources beyond those provided by the professor in the modules and the
textbook. I will provide the screen recording of the book and the video. In this assignment you will review the
information in the textbook titled Explore: Investigate Development – Cognitive Development in Infancy. After
reviewing the information (explore – there is a link in this module, right after these instructions) you will make a
decision about how the patient should proceed and defend that decision.
In 400-800 words choose the decision you recommend for the patient (no paraphrasing necessary) and then
defend that decision. Full APA formatting is expected, including a cover page, in text references, and a
references list. The document should be double spaced, have 1” margins, and be in Times New Roman 12
point font. For further formatting guidelines please refer to the Academic Integrity Module and the APA Module
(both on Canvas).
As outlined in the course syllabus, you are to have a maximum of 1 direct quote in this assignment, and it
cannot be more than 10 words long. Failure to comply to these instructions will result in a grade penalty and
depending on the error, may constitute an academic integrity violation that may be reported to the college.
Remember, in this class we focus on research and facts. So stick to the evidence and science when making
your decision and defending it. You are NOT to use outside resources beyond those provided by the professor
in the modules and the textbook. Decisions based on emotions and personal opinions are not appropriate, nor
are decisions based on personal experiences.
