The purpose of this assignment is to provide students an immediate and low stakes opportunity to apply course material. Further, it provides the instructor with an opportunity to assess student comprehension of course content and to correct misunderstandings as they arise. Assignment For each of the twelve content units, there is a journal prompt that asks each student to apply the content of the unit to the week’s video. Students should focus on the course content and provide a clear, concise, and thorough response to the prompt for each journal entry.
