Implement community development strategies

Task Instructions
Individually you are required to develop a community development project targeting specific community groups (e.g. refugees, young people, people experiencing homelessness, elderly, etc). Please note your choice must reflect the Australian society).
In planning and developing your community development project, you are required to write 1200-1500 words project outlining the following project characteristics
•    Name of the project
•    Aim and objectives of the project
•    How you identify the issue/s your project endeavours to achieve
•    Why the project is important for your client/community group
•    What process you follow in identifying the main issues or area of community concern
•    What resources are required to achieve your project goals
•    Who are the key stakeholders and partners of the project
•    What skills and abilities are required to undertake the project
•    What are the outcomes of the project
•    Develop project budget outlining income and expenditure
•    How do you evaluate your project

Marking Criteria
•    Student outlined the aim and objective of the project
•    Student has identified issues relevant to the project using needs identification tools
•    Student has identified relevant resources to achieve the goal/objective of the project
•    Student has identified key stakeholders and partners and their role in achieving the goals of the project
•    Student has identified relevant skills and abilities to carry out the project
•    Student has identified outcomes of the project
•    Student has developed project budget and timeframe
•    Student has outlined project evaluation tools
