–What issues were affecting the US during the post WWI years that led to US immigration policies?
–How were immigrants portrayed by the differing sides on immigration issues?
–What similarities and differences do you see with modern US immigration policy?
–In your opinion, what does it mean to be “American?” Do the ideas of who is “American” and the values attached to that change over time?
