For the creative writing piece---Select one real-life issue or situation related to class content that feels particularly alive to you As you make your selection,
remember that this assignment offers an opportunity for you to reflect on this issue with renewed awareness and self-criticality.
tell the story of how you experienced this issue or situation, along with any reflections you may have. Try to bring readers into the situation as much as possible.
You may craft the story in the genre of your choice: short story, long poem, graphic novel, letter, dialogue, etc. You may narrate from your own perspective and/or
from that of other people.
Make reference to at least two course readings that relate to what you have to say (references can be in footnotes or embedded in the text, depending on the form and
flow or your writing).
