Humanities learning from their mistakes

Consider the societies that have been discussed in this course during the
past several weeks, as well as the events faced by each; wars over land,
economic highlights, and assassinations of unprotected leaders, to name
a few. Do any of the events sound familiar? They should.
Many historical events are often repeats of the past.
For this CLA, select three major events discussed in any historical
society so far in this course, and determine whether history has repeated
itself for each event in a two- to four-page written, APA-formatted
essay, which follows the comprehensive learning assessment guidelines
detailed in the university policies. As you make your determinations,
ensure that you respond to the following:
Define the event. The event can be cultural, political, social,
economic, or religious, to name a few ideas.
If history has repeated itself, identify both the original and the
following historical event, and compare the two events.
If the event has not been repeated, identify whether there were
previous situations/events that allowed that society to learn from
their mistakes.
How can humanity stop repeating itself and learn from its
mistakes?
