DescriptionThe HPV vaccine (3 doses) is recommended for all 11-12 year old pre-teens, including both males and females. This vaccine has been very slow to gain acceptance and compared to other childhood vaccines immunization rates remain low. Only 37.6% of 13-17 year old females and 13.9% of 13-17 year old males have received the full series. 1. What factors influence these low rates? 2.
