The following process enables us to give a fair and objective review to each of the case study projects, according to the objectives and criteria set forth in the assignment.
Your Paper should address the following:
1.Select one topic (listed below) and discuss whether a worker was fired or treated unjustly.

Fair and thorough investigation
Equal treatment/discrimination
Due process rights denial
Mitigating circumstances
Excessive penalty
Communication of the rules
Abusive behavior
Insubordination
Falsification of company records
Fighting on the job
Workplace violence/threats

Absences/tardiness
Use or possession of drugs and/or alcohol

2.Discuss how workplace disputes are resolved fundamentally determines the nature of the employment relationship.
3.Decide and discuss if the Employer, Union, or Labor Representative involved contributed (or not) to the achievement of efficiency, equity, and voice. Explain why or why not.
4.Discuss how various alternative directions for labor relations (Ch. 13), feel free to reference information from Tables 13.1, 13.2 and 13.3, entail similar or different systems for resolving workplace disputes.
Example: “Solidarity unionism might use a traditional union grievance procedure and/or greater worker activism such as wildcat strikes.”
5.Feel free to experiment between two theories/hypotheses or two articles or come up with your new theory and hypothesis.
6.Overall goal, create and defend your hypothesis (How would you handle the claim?)!
