HEALTH TEACHING PLAN AND CLASSROOM PRESENTATION in school

  1. Decide on a lesson to be taught in the classroom at a particular grade level.
  2. Review teaching/learning theories.
  3. Write a 2-4 page paper using APA format addressing the following:
    a. Statement of the problem and justification for teaching
    b. Justification should be based on review of 2 sources of literature and/or journal research,
  4. summarize each source in 1-2 quality paragraph
    a. Include one sound teaching/learning theory relevant to target group.
    i. Incorporate learner theory based activities (small group, individual expression, worksheets to
  5. take home, etc.).
    i. Include an appropriate method of learner evaluation followed by outcomes.
  6. Develop a teaching outline using the outline form below.
  7. Include a list of resources for teaching materials related to teaching plan.
  8. Include learner evaluation tool/documentation.( The evaluation tool must be previously approved and used )

• Behavioral objectives for learners (use action verbs)

• Materials needed (should be write )
• Content outline (complete – including introduction, body, and summary)
• Method of learner evaluation
