MY TOPIC IS: Oral tradition are often lost or sidelined when print media becomes the dominant mode of communication.choose an oral tradition(eg. ancient Greece, oral tradition of Canada’s First Nation,etc) and write a paper that discusses orality in relation to print or digital media.

COMMENT FROM PROF: A reasonable start but there are some issues that need addressing. Your research question is not yet specific enough – phrase your question as a “how” question. As it is it only leaves room for a yes or no answer. A how question, such as “how did the oral traditions change over time due to…” etc etc? leaves room to answer the question in detail. Your sources are mostly appropriate though you might want to edit the citations as there might be words or page numbers missing (see second source). The annotations do go into detail about the content of the sources but you don’t explain how you will use them to answer your question. The paper should be more than descriptive. Beyond describing oral traditions the sources do not go into detail about how modern communications methods have altered oral traditions. And what do you mean by modern communication modes? Specify. There is a very long gap between contemporary times and ancient greece, so you need to account for that. Make sure to edit for typos and spelling mistakes as well.
