EXAMPLE: Harry Potter series: Severus Snape as an antihero; equality/inequality or male and female characters. Sample thesis statement: Can readers appreciate Severus Snape’s heroism despite his unpleasant personality? The paper doesn’t have to be about Severus Snape, but I do need an acceptable thesis about the series. The requirement is to come up with an idea that is debatable or that many readers may not agree with you about.
Must have a minimum of 5 sources (3 must be scholarly, academic sources. Other may be Wikipedia, blogs, interviews, Etc.)
Must follow MLA format for in-text citations and must have a works cited page.
