Using the independent review of Governor General Julie Payette toxic workplace behaviour (attached) as a case study, examine toxic workplaces in the public sector and how they can negatively impact public services and the level and quality of service delivery. Consider the Canadian context and recent examples in the public health agency, military and police services. Also consider why toxic behaviours could manifest uniquely in the public sector and recommend solutions for effectively managing toxic workplaces in the public sector.
