Deciding which global leadership competencies are the most valuable and accomplished is a challenge. Global leadership in its entirety is challenging and unknown. Even though there are overlays of competencies and how to assess them, there is not one mode that fits all. Therefore, global leadership is full of individual perspectives and such an interesting topic.
Based on this week reading, there are over 160 competencies that have been discovered. Several of the studies have found the following to be the six core competencies category:

3. Cognitive Orientation
4. Global business expertise
5. Global organization expertise
6. Visioning
   Global leadership is a multifaceted phenomenon and the competencies associated with performing at a high level are multifaceted as well.
