Using a Sociological Imagination, reflect on and connect your reading of “Getting Wasted” to what we have discussed and read about so far this semester, especially in regards to the social construction of drug use, sociological theoretical explanations for drug use behavior, and demographic and institutional correlates of drug use. Be sure to connect the personal biography/personal experiences of the students discussed in the book to larger societal/public concerns. Your paper should be a reflection on the book focusing specifically on what you found most interesting using a sociological perspective. It should be clear you carefully and critically read the book in your paper but o not summarize the book.
