For the individual paper, students are requested to write and submit a 1000word (APA Style referenced) -The paper must be 1000 words. A 100-word margin either way will be allowed i.e., 900-1100 (the cover sheet and reference list will not count towards the 1000word count). Any paper with a word count outside of these margins will be penalized points. 2. The paper must be formatted as follows: Cover page Students name and Student ID Title of topic Word count Name of the course Instructors name Due date of the assignment Written with Microsoft Word (Google Docs, iPages, and/or any other writing software is not permitted) Have 1.5-line spacing, Page numbers, and Times New Roman (size 12 font) Must have headings (i.e., Introduction, Literature Review, Conclusion, Reference List) Written in third-person language (i.e., the author, the researcher, etc.) Reference list (see details for APA Style referencing below) -ONLY use peer reviewed academic journal articles for referencing. do NOT use (If you use any of these you will receive a ZERO for the paper): Course Material (Victim Services Textbook) Any Books Any websites (including .org or .gov sites) Dictionaries/ Encyclopedia’s Theses/ Dissertations Government Reports or Reports in general Newspapers/ Magazines
