London Courts of Appeal 2014: You are called to court to present this evidence in an appeal against the conviction.
To prepare yourself for this trial you are required to critique all the methods used in the case, the validity of the results, and how you would defend them in court. You should also suggest what other evidence could/should be tested to support the plea and by what methods. Remember this a DNA based module.

The assignment should be substantial pieces of work. It would be expected that the total report will exceed 20 typed pages. There is no limit to the size of the work. The format of the critique is up to you. The assessment will consider basic issues such as presentation, correct use of referencing and as well as content. It will also consider several key areas, including your understanding of the approaches used will be assessed along with your ability to present them in a clear and logical fashion. It will also be judged as to whether it is fit for purpose, whether you have included the key evidence, its clearly explained, and whether it would really stand up in court.
