Flint Water Crisis
The Flint Water situation highlights the failures of government officials and agencies when they make
decisions based primarily upon economic concerns. The most basic job of government is to serve the
needs of the public. Public servants who work for the government (engineers, public health officials,
city employees, city councils, etc.) failed the citizens of Flint in various ways. Identify and explain
what you think were two of the largest engineering or government failings in the entire situation. You
and
identify and explain how at least ONE concept in the glossary applies to the Flint Water Crisis. There
are probably at least 10 (if not more) of the terms which would work here.
