Construct a letter to your legislator of an upcoming / existing healthcare bill
• Make sure you identify the bill number and whether you are for or against it in the first paragraph.
• Keep the letter short—one page is best—and sign it with your name, credentials (e.g., LVN/LPN, RN, APRN), and address.
• Make sure you clearly indicate if you are for or against the bill with evidence supporting your position.
