Anti-immigrant sentiment in your community seems to be on the rise and there have been a number of hate crimes directed at the Arab American community. You notice that while many of the immigrant students of color excel academically and have high aspirations for college and professional careers, there is a growing sense of alienation regarding life in the United States, especially among your male students. How do you explain this alienation and what do you do about it?
