Your life looks exactly as you want it to look. You have completed your vision quest and found that you can surely create everything you want in life. As you settle back into your NOW reality, you feel enthusiastic and
energized to create the life of your dreams, more than ever!
Now it is time to do the real magic…taking the steps to make this dream your reality.
In this module, we address the “What it takes” of your dream life. What are the things that will be required of you? What steps will you take? Who will be the cooperating players? What resources will you need and how will you obtain them? This is the part that can separate the “talk” about it crowd from the “BE” about it crowd. USE AND SHOW YOUR REFERENCES!
What are the actions steps you will need to take in order to make it to this dream career?
Consider:
What jobs may you work take along the way
What will you need to learn?
What resources will you need?
Will you need any certifications?
What skills will you need to learn?
Map out a timeline of your career development. Show how you plan to progress through the steps of your career to reach your dream life and career. Then SHOW AT LEAST THREE jobs in the real-time market that
you are both qualified for AND would want to work right after graduation.
What is the job?
What are their qualifications?
How do you know you are ready for this job?
What is the expected salary?
Does this salary support your post-graduation needs?
Take a deep dive into your financial plan.
Revisit: What about your planned budget works? What does not?
Identify in your budget the amount (how much each month) you plan to save and why you are saving it (for
what?).
Choose your top three (3) accounts where you will specifically hold your money while you save it. We call this a “vehicle” for saving. Savings bonds or accounts? Money markets? Stocks? Investments? Where will
your money goes to work and grow?
For each option you choose: What are the risks of your choice? What are the expected interest rates? Tax
consequences when you withdraw it?
Show a schedule of your money and its growth over time.
