Essay Analysis

1) Use examples from your writing and my feedback from all 3 essays (Personal Response, Integration Paper, Definition essay). When using examples,
please state the name of the assignment – i.e., Definition essay.
2) Include at least 3 video reflections.
3) Use at least 3 pieces of evidence from BOTH the course pack and the course materials posted in Moodle and include an in-text citation for each piece of
evidence.
4) For each important thing that you learned, you need to write a body paragraph of 125 -200 words. The total word count for the entire assignment will be
1200-2000 words. You need to support your assertion (what you learned) with evidence and examples and explanation. Follow the paragraph pattern taught
in this course. Then apply what your learned to your future academic studies OR your future career.
5) You DO NOT need to include an introduction or conclusion. Write 10 body paragraphs.
6) You should not just re-tell something from the course pack. For example, you should not say “I learned that the definition thesis follows this structure:
Term + Category + Differentiation”. Rather, you should REFLECT on and ANALYZE your experiences, your new understanding, or your discoveries about
writing, academic culture, culture, or yourself. You also need to APPLY what you learned to your future academic studies and your future career.
7) This is not an informal assignment. Use a strong academic tone in your assignment.
8) Your submission can be in the form of a journal entry, blog post, written assignment, power point, audio recording, or video recording. Note: If you choose
a blog post, you need to send me a link to the post by the due date. If you choose a journal entry (Word doc), written assignment (Word doc), or power point
you must email me the assignment by the due date. If you choose a Video recording, send me the link to the video recording. If you choose to do an audio
