Describe the importance of emotions and the influence of our culture in our ability to think for ourselves.
Describe the purpose of the Milgram experiment.
Explain what Buber says about our relationships to other beings in the world.
Analyze the thoughts of Fromm, Buber and Milgram. Explain what do they think about human nature and our
capacity to follow others blindly and our capacity to murder innocent people while ignoring our conscience?
Should this tendency make us fear that we are capable of thoughtless and evil actions against others? If so,
how can we avoid being thoughtless and evil?
