The research work has to fall clearly in at least one of the three branches of Philosophy, namely, Metaphysics, Epistemology and Ethics.

Areas of research interest: 1) Technology, Epistemology & Ethics (These areas in relation to understanding Africa’s place in the coming Fourth Industrial Revolution. Something to jog your mind in relation to practicality of the topic: “Africa was largely colonized thanks to Europeans advancement in technology (First & Second Industrial Revolution). What is Africa’s place in relation to technological match towards Fourth Industrial Revolution? How is this likely to affect the continent’s place in the global dynamics this time round?”. These are just thoughts, you should not be restricted to them or be forced to anchor your suggestion for research topic on them. It would be great if the writer could structure a topic around these areas of research interest. Please suggest a few topics I can choose from before you proceed to write.

Some of the scholars of interest include Heidegger, Sowell, Rand, Nietzsche, etc, but it would be good for the proposal to feature some prominent Philosophy scholars of African descent.

The research work proposal should be speculative, argumentative and logically presented. The research hypothesis should be easily identifiable in the proposal.
