Directed Patrol
Directed patrol involves assigning officers to specific areas based on crime data and analysis. This method aims to concentrate police resources on high-crime areas, thereby reducing crime rates. While effective in targeting specific crime problems, it can sometimes lead to displacement of crime to other areas. Additionally, it may not address the root causes of crime, such as poverty and inequality.
