Effective leadership is cultural dependent

  Assume that you are being sent to China to run a division of your company's overseas operations- Let’s assume that you were born and raised in the States and you have been managing for five years in your current position at a manufacturing facility in the Midwest- Now that you are going overseas you want to understand what the Chinese workers look for in a leader and what it will take to be a successful leader in China- In order to do so you decide to research the following- 1- What are some of the critical Chinese business norms/expectations that you need to be aware of when managing in China? 2- What expectations do Chinese workers have for their managers and leaders? 3-What aspects of Chinese culture and values do you need to be aware of in order to be a successful manager in this culture? 4- Name at least 3 ways in which the US and China differ on Cultural dimensions that would impact your leadership style ( see Hofstede's research) Ten page limit not including cover and reference page- at least 8 credible outside resources must be cited and referenced in your work
