Write an essay on the chapter you have selected
Respond to the following in your essay:
Summarize the findings of economic research of the effects of the policies in the chapter you have selected.

Do the findings make sense to you and your understanding of how regulations effect markets?
If the regulatory policy had unintended effects on rents, wages, etc, what policies would you recommend that
could correct these defects?
Assuming your recommended policies have financial impacts on local, state or federal government, how likely
will it be that your recommendations will be acceptable to the government agency that will have to fund the
project?
Finally, what is the likelihood that the regulatory policy you have selected to write about will be eliminated by
government assuming it can’t be fixed and made effective?
Who would oppose and who would favor elimination of the policy and why?
