DNA recombinant Technology

This week we are focusing on DNA recombinant Technology and mostly considering individual techniques for the manipulation and analysis of DNA, RNA, & proteins. What I would like you to consider is what would take to sequence an entire genome? How would you go about sequencing your own genome, what material would you start with, how would you obtain the nucleotide sequence of all 3 billion base pairs?
