Discussion   reading is an excerpt from the book Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women′s Prison (2010) by Piper Kerman. This is VERY DIFFERENT from the TV show, so even if you have watched the show, you still need to read the essay. These questions come from the ′Engaging with the Text′ section of the book. How is this purpose related to the significance of Kerman′s essay, in your opinion.
