Discourse community which is about the Amish people .

write about is genera which is considered a characteristics of Swales’ discourse community

Swales put six characteristics that determine if this community called discourse community or not. I wrote about fife characteristics out of six is applied to the Amish community. The sixth characteristics that I could not write about is the characteristic named “Genre”

My professor told me that I have to write about the genera of Amish people by writing about two texts used by Amish People. The first text is the Bible and the second text is the one named Ordnung.

Here is instructions I have to follow .Use Your Knowledge of the Community to Analyze the Texts (This should be the bulk of your paper):
o Compare how both texts use content (words, images), design, and organization.
o Explain the ways in which the texts reflect (or don’t reflect) the members of the discourse community and the rhetorical situations in which they were written.

write about the characteristic of genera only. No need to define or write about the rest of characteristic.
Also NO need to write introduction about The Amish
