Development of a full assessment plan and toolkit focused on a particular applied case.
Prepare a very brief (2-3 page range) critique of a particular adult education course or program you would like to use for your applied case. The case should be real and the information about the case accurate. Include the following in this critique:
• Describe a particular adult education workshop, course, or program that you would like to use as your applied case, critiquing the existing approach by identifying the strengths, weaknesses, and gaps to address in your plan.
• Identify the core assessment or evaluation needs of the program (using the seven core types of assessment or evaluation: needs assessment; self-assessment; peer-assessment; formative assessment, summative assessment; training evaluation; transfer of learning evaluation.)
• Identify the strengths, weaknesses, and gaps of the existing case vis-à-vis the above to guide your planning in Part II
