Download (see Project data folder) the US News dataset on Tier I National Universities from Canvas and import it into either Excel or SPSS, whichever you are planning to use for the projects. You may use both Excel and SPSS, if desired.

Create frequency/percentage distributions for Region, Setting, and Selectivity.

Create a clustered bar graph for Selectivity by Type and Region by Type.

Calculate the median, mean, standard deviation for GradRate, Accept, Topfresh and Tuition.

Estimate with 95% as well as 99% confidence the population mean for GradRate, Accept, Topfresh and Tuition.
