Write, comparing & contrasting the understanding of democracy by two theorist
(Joel Olson’s “Abolition of White Democracy” and Iris Young’s “Inclusion and Democracy”). The only source for
the paper will be uploaded and you have to use in-text page citations, direct quotes, and paraphrasing the
theorists ideas. The pre-approved research question is: Which democratic theorist, between Olson’s
abolitionist democracy or Young’s deliberative democracy is most effective in achieving racial justice?
