In Acts 15, we find an account of a decisive moment in the history of the Christian church–the Council of Jerusalem–written through the lens of the the final, agreed upon resolution. However, as we see in Paul’s version in Galatians 2, we see that there was significant and even heated disagreement before the agreement was met.
