Cyberbullying and Social Media: Who is suffering the most?

What do I plan to accomplish with this research: Societal effects of cyberbullying and how it affects
teenagers and adults in education and workplace. What are the ways it can be tackled.
Why do I want to do the research? Cyberbullying creates fear, anxiety and force teenagers into taking
extreme steps towards harming themselves. It lowers their already diminishing confidence to lead a dignified
life. The purpose of this research will shed light on this issue and give potential solutions to solve this serious
societal problem.
How am I going to conduct the research? To gather this data, I will use mixed methods of quantitative and
qualitative research instruments. I will administer a survey via Survey Monkey to participants about their
demographics, their experience with social media, and their attitudes toward cyberbullying.
