    Select one news source and its discussion of a social problem. In the initial post, you will write one paragraph (6-8 sentences) description about the news source. In this paragraph, you should explain how the social problem was discussed (factors, causes, consequences, solutions). Summarize the news source in your own words. In the second paragraph, you will critically analysis the social problem. Using sociological analysis, you will discuss the social problem with sociological knowledge, concepts, topics, perspectives and theories. You should not only define the concepts, terms, topics, perspectives and/or theories used, but also cite the textbook. Any concept, term perspective or theory used in the posts must be bolded! Questions to answer in the analysis. Be specific, detailed, creative, critical and thorough. How does a sociological perspective assist in understanding the current event, media source or life? What would a sociologist say about this social problem? How would sociological theory examine the social problem? What are the factors, causes, consequences and solutions of social problem? Do you think this is a serious and urgent social problem? Use sociological analysis to support your argument.
