Write a 10-page research paper analyzing either a law enforcement agency or law enforcement topic. The paper must be submitted via Canvas. The list of law

enforcement agencies and law enforcement topics for the research paper are posted on Canvas. You must choose from one law enforcement agency or one of the

listed topics. If your law enforcement agency or topic of choice is not on the list, you must obtain my approval in order to write the paper on your choice.

If you choose to write your research paper based on a law enforcement agency you must do the following:

First, you need to discuss why you chose to write your paper based on the selected law enforcement agency. Second, you need to provide an overview of the

selected law enforcement agency such as history of the organization, structure of the organization, recruitment process, problems or scandals associated with

the organization, etc. Third, describe how the selected law enforcement agency has been portrayed in the media (e.g. newspaper, news, movies, t.v. shows,

etc.). Fourth, describe your professional career aspirations after you graduate from CSUN (e.g. your employment goal after graduation). Lastly, describe your

experience as a CSUN CJS student by describing what you have enjoyed and disliked about the CJS department.
